Meet the Pros
Ed and Jack Reeves
 Pros In Shade founders Ed and Jack Reeves got their start in business some 30 odd years ago growing up in the family business, started by their grandfather, that had been making custom awnings since the 1950's.
Intent on carrying on the family tradition while bringing innovation and efficiency to the business Ed attended Mansfield University and the University of Scranton earning degrees in business and mathematics while Jack studied mechanical engineering and earned his degree from Penn State.
Together they brought their knowledge and experience to the family business, continuing their grandfather's and father's legacy of producing high quality products with friendly, dependable service.
In 2009, setting out on a new venture of their own, Jack and Ed launched ProsInShade.com, an online custom awning business serving do-it-yourselfers.
When asked why they launched their new business, Jack said, "We want to give customers the chance to design and install their own awnings without having to call around for quotes, wait for them to come to the house to measure, take the order and then come back to install." Ed explains, "People want high quality products, but they're busy. Now, they can place an order from their computer in their spare time and install them (awnings) on the weekend."
